A seven-unit magazine-styled book based on the New Curriculum (2000) The basic tager audience is Foundation Level Stage 3 - elementary school pupils. However, together with the two workbooks, ActivityWorld & ActivityPlus, the KidWorld package covers texts ranging from Foundation Level 1 to Intermediate Level 1. ActivityWorld is an organic part of Kidworld. It is NOT a supplemantary workbook.
It includes practice and reinforcement activities, extension activities, performance tasks, and a special section with tools for assessment and reflection at the end of each unit. A comprehensive glossary is included. Activityplus is for pupils having difficulties. It provides scaffolding which facilitates the integration of weak pupils into the heterogeneous classroom.
