My name is Arieh Golan. I have been an English teacher
for thirty years. Ten years ago I started writing a dictionary
of idioms and proverbs, English-Hebrew. It came out last week.
The dictionary contains some 17000 idioms and slang expressions.
I strongly believe that both teachers and students can benefit
from this dictionary by expanding their knowledge of English
idiomaticity, a domain which, unfortunately, is given short
shrift by most English teachers.
