My name is Tehila Lewkowicz from Elon Moreh and this is my idea:
I write a quote on a large colored paper and put it on the wall. We read the quote and explain it together. Then the pupils have two weeks to respond to the quote on the paper and add their names. No bad language is allowed. After two weeks I take the paper off the wall, read their responses and check who has participated in the interactive - quotes - wall. In the meantime, a new quote is on the wall again.
I've found this to be a different way of participation for those shy pupils and an enriching and interesting for the stronger pupils who want to express themselves. This is also a nice way to decorate the class.
