The "solemnity" (a ball) at the Capulet house

On the 1st of May there was a "solemnity" at the Capulet's house. Capulet is one of the richest families in Verona. Their house is huge. On the night of the party, it was glorious and magnificent. There were many celebrities at the party. One of them was Juliet's, Capulet's daughter, fiance, Paris. Juliet and Paris were together during the whole-evening, according Juliet's mother. There isa rumor that Romeo, Montague's son, was seen in the party. Furthermore, some people say they saw Romeo and Juliet dancing together.

We wanted to confirm our suspicions. Therefore, we asked for response from Tybalt, Juliet's cousin: Which special guest do you remember the most? "Tis he, that villain Romeo." How do you feel about Romeo's presence in your party? "What dares the slave come hither? (...) to fleer and scorn at our solemnity?".

Romeo and Juliet got married in secret!!!

Romeo, a Montague, and Juliet, a Capulet, got married in Friar Lawrence's cell in secret. While the feud between the two families is getting deeper, two cross-stared lovers are getting married. They met at the party in the Capulet's house. Not long after, they exchanged vows. Is that the start of the end? Will it "turn your household's rancour to pure love"? (Friar Lawrence).

WE ALL HOPE THAT - THIS LOVE WILL BEAT THE FEUD

Apparently those two lovers didn't beat the feud...

Tybalt, Juliet's cousin is furious about Romeo's presence in the party at the Capulet's house. He expressed his anger to Capulet and Capulet, who was disturbed, became angry with Tybalt. Capulet threw Tybalt out and let Romeo stay till the end. Tybalt didn't like Capulet's act. Therefore, he invited Romeo and his gang to fight. Romeo didn't want to harm Tybalt, because he was Juliet's cousin. In spite of Romeo's appeal, Mercutio persisted in fighting with Tybalt, defending his and the Montague's dignity. He taunted Tybalt till he became quite angry. Tybalt stabbed Mercutio and after a few minutes he died. One of his last sentences was: ... "A plague o' both your houses...". That evening the plague has started... Romeo killed Tybalt, because Tybalt killed his best friend (Marcutio). The prince exiled Romeo.
